OH-BOY ! Features:
Lightning strokes that hit near cables, induces dangerous overvoltages which may cause serious damages, as overvoltages propagate along the cable. To protect your valuable equipment, rotator, transceiver, etc., protection should be installed on both ends of cable.

OH-BOY ! overvoltage protection is implemented by using multiple stage, extremely rapidly reacting overvoltage protective components. Overvoltages that come from the cable, are slowed down and discharged in multiple stages. In critical overvoltage situation, propagation of overvoltage is stopped with permanently triggered circuit placed before the protected equipment. Protection against overvoltages from mains is achieved with protective components between phase and neutral wires. OH-BOY ! protects all equipment behind protection on same phase wire.

OH-BOY ! Maximum load 16 amps. If all three phases are in use, and/or load is greater than 16A, multiple overvoltage protectors must be used accordingly.
OH-BOY ! Overvoltages on low voltage wires are conducted directly to grounding.
Provide efficient grounding - ground your equipment before you are grounded.

OH-BOY ! Easy installation on new targets, and for already existing unprotected cables and equipment.

Input/output connectors:
2x 2-way + 1x3-way and 1x3-way mains connectors, total 20 screw connectors. UL94V0 - fire extinguishing material. Terminal block with wire protection, wires 2,5mm² (single threaded) and 1,5mm² (multi threaded or end sleeves).

Cable glands IP68:
Four M20 glands for ø 6...12mm cables.

PCB:
FR4, tinned copper foil and protective coating.

Protective components:
Mains protection: Max 16A 230VAC single phase. Max discharge current 10kA. Deviation ±100V with 2000A 4000V test pulse.
Protection is between neutral and phase wires!
Overvoltage/energy is not discharged to ground outside equipment to avoid accidental human contact.
